Dad,, u had so many health problems but battled on through them all,, life got harder for you 9 years ago when u lost your legs due to your diabetes, it was harder physically and mentally, u had your ups and downs,you just wanted to see me marry and be happy,,u did and you really enjoyed the day which im so glad for... i understood certain actions u took months after x
life got harder and harder for you as new problems took over your body but you fought n carried on each time...then you had another fall,, and broke your neck and needed surgery.
i waited and prayed outside those theatre doors for you.. you made it through and i gave you loads of encouragement to fight.
you tried so hard..then the doctor asked to have a word in another room..those echoey words were said to me, the ones i didnt want to hear..i stayed with you all night you got through it. then late afternoon you took a turn for the worse, there was nothing more they could do.
Dad i stroked your hair and asked you to let go..you finally went,, you left to be free from pain. was so hard leaving you there all alone, i didnt want to.
i have your photo and some of your hair in my locket which i treasure.

Letter From Heaven.
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;

we didn't get to say.

But then I fully realized,

I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?
So when tomorrow starts without me,
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me,
